Here are the most frequently asked questions:
- Where is the school located? Preschool campus: 4729 Neta Lane, K-12 Campus: 1615 Midwestern Parkway (formerly McGaha school)
- Where are the offices located? Superintendent and business office: 4729 Neta Lane. Admissions Director: 1615 Midwestern Parkway. Office hours are 8:00-4:00 M-F
- How do I apply and when? Applications are accepted year round and must be submitted with the application fee. It is best to apply as early as possible (especially preschool) to secure a spot for your student. - Are tuition scholarships available? Yes, for K-12; pick up an application from the business office or Admissions Director
- Are tuition discounts available? Yes, we offer military, minister, and multiple family discounts.
- What are the school hours? Preschool: 8:00-3:00, T/Th Preschool: 9:00-2:30, Elementary: 8:30-3:30, JH/HS: 8:00-3:15. Athletics may require practice times before and/or after school.
- Does WCS provide after school care? Before and after school care is available at the preschool from 7:30-8:00 a.m. and 3:00-5:30 p.m. K-12 provides after school care, 3:30-5:30 p.m. There is a fee for this service in addition to normal tuition.
- Are uniforms required at WCS? Yes, at the K-12 campus. Please see the Student Handbook (pg. 24-25) for details. Monogramming can be done at “A Stitch in Time”, 4716 Brookdale for a nominal fee, or through Land’s End (www.Landsend.com). Preschool does not require uniforms but does have a dress code.
- What will my child do for lunch? Preschool students bring their lunch. Pizza is ordered periodically throughout the year. K-12 students are offered a hot lunch program. Menus are sent home monthly and posted on Renweb.
- What is PCE? Parents for Christian Education; membership is extended to all people who have a common interest and loyalty to the purposes and activities of WCS.
- Does WCS have employment opportunities? Applications are available at the business office or you can download a copy from the website (Employment Application). Applications need to be returned to the business office at 4729 Neta Lane.
