Fine Arts
Our commitment to the arts is important to the well-rounded experience we give all our students at WCS. The Fine Arts enhance the creative experience.
ART
Art is an important part of the curriculum at WCS from Preschool through 12th grade. Students have the opportunity to express their creativity and also enter their art in interscholastic competitions.
BAND/CHOIR
Wichita Christian School is one of the only schools offering a jazz band program. The High School Band also has the opportunity to compete in band and music competitions as well as many school and community functions.
Grades 7-12 can also try out for the WCS ENCORE choir. Various singing engagements are scheduled throughout the year. The choir is important at our major events during the school year.
DRAMA
The WCS drama program has many opportunities to shine for WCS. They perform in preschool, elementary, and high school chapel, and also visit area youth groups for performances. The Drama program also has opportunities to compete in interscholastic competitions as well as perform for many school functions.
