– WCS Elementary Students Send $2926 to Haiti

By admin · February 12, 2010 · Filed in Parent Group · No Comments »

WCS Elementary students brought pennies, nickels, dimes, and any other change they had last week to raise $626 to send to relief efforts in Haiti.  A generous donation of $2300 from Ken’s Pizza in Iowa Park to partner with their fund-raising efforts brought the total to $2926.  We are proud of our young students, and thankful for the generosity of Ken’s Pizza and pray that this donation can help to alleviate the suffering still going on in that country.
