A Quality Christian School

At WCS, we combine faith, family and education. With small class sizes and academic integrity, we provide challenging academics centered on your child in a Christian environment. Bible classes every day and chapel give our students an enriched spiritual life while our nine sport options provide a competitive athletic program. Come see for yourself what we are all about! Email tarrington@wichitachristian.com to schedule a tour today.

Capital Campaign Goal Met

With our “Shoot for the Stars” Capital Campaign goal complete, our next phase will include fundraising efforts to complete the project — debt free. We need to raise $280,000 to cover additional costs (architect, enhanced sound system, etc.) for expenses not included in the original $2 million to make it happen. To learn more or make a gift to this new effort, please contact Kristal Amador, kamador@wichitachristian.com or call (940) 687-1643. Our donors continue to bless us with their generosity. All WCS students appreciate all you do. Thank you.

NHS, NJHS Donate to Mission

Wichita Christian School's National Junior Honor Society and National Honor Society (NHS) members hosted a Powder Puff Football Game on Saturday, November 19 to raise money for the Thanksgiving meal at Faith Mission. "The event was a great success! We hope to make it an annual event," said Sally Perkins, faculty advisor. NHS Officers, Parker Herren, Paige Fristoe and Madison Sosolik along with Perkins presented a check for $137 to Faith Mission. The money was enough to provide 34 people in need with a Thanksgiving meal and lodging for the night.

Bible Classes Support Operation

Wichita Christian School Bible classes collected money to purchase gifts for Operation Christmas Child. Students filled 30 shoe boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and other necessities and presented them to Liz and Keith Sanderson and Melissa Conley of KMOC FM radio station. Filled shoe boxes will be sent overseas to children in need as Christmas presents. "God has blessed Wichita Christian School in unimaginable ways and it is awesome to see our students continue the spirit of generosity by giving to others so unselfishly. God is glorified," said junior high girls’ Bible teacher, Courtney Cummings.

Pre-K, Elementary Give Back

Wichita Christian School’s preschool and elementary students collected $1,849.10 for Operation Santa Claus. The money was collected one quarter at a time through student donations. Mrs. Hackley's first grade class collected the most money, earning the opportunity to spend the entire amount on toys and gifts to be presented to local firefighters for Operation Santa Claus. This annual event allows our students an opportunity to see how their small change can make a big difference in our community.
