Wichita Christian School is Texoma's largest private school, serving over 320 students preschool-12th grade. For 60 years our goal has been the same: to provide a quality education for students in a Christian community, preparing hearts, minds, and souls for successful living. Children are our passion, and we operate daily under the conviction of high standards, belief in the family unit, challenging a child’s potential, and equipping our students for the future. Part of our daily life at WCS includes making a difference in the lives of others — through community service, volunteerism, donations to charities, prayer, and much more.
As a private Christian school, we operate solely on tuition and gift income. Your gift to WCS is tax-deductible, as we are considered a charitable IRS 501 (c) (3) organization. Giving to our Annual Fund, various campaigns, fundraising events, sponsorships, bequests and planned gifts, are vital to our mission and continues our culture of philanthropy that impacts our students now and for years to come.
If you have specific questions about how to become involved or how your gift is being used, please don't hesitate to contact our business office at (940) 687-1643. Thank you for your efforts to enhance His Kingdom and for making a difference at WCS!
It is with prayer, excitement, and gratitude that we intentionally move forward for both existing and future STARS of Wichita Christian School with the “Fine Arts for the Stars” capital campaign. This effort involves constructing a new Fine Arts building on our Midwestern Parkway campus, providing our K-12th grade students with much-needed and isolated space to participate in our growing Fine Arts programs. The Fine Arts building will provide:
The new Fine Arts building will help to provide an optimal learning environment and positively impact all students at WCS! The goal is to raise $525,000 over the course of one year.
UPDATE: This capital campaign was completed in early spring of 2024 and a new, fully funded building to house our fine arts classes and practices was built at our K-12 campus. Thank you for supporting Christian education and the arts at WCS!
The annual fund covers everything not covered by tuition. Tuition dollars are allocated to meet the school's basic operational needs and we are committed to keeping tuition competitive. The annual fund enables WCS to do more than just what tuition provides and has a direct impact on our students, faculty, families, and entire community. This is an ongoing, yearly campaign to support a variety of programs and needs such as academic infrastructure, curriculum development, athletics, transportation, safety measures, fine arts, tuition assistance scholarships, and campus-wide enhancements. A gift to the Annual Fund is unrestricted and directed to the greatest needs of the school. You can support the Annual Fund through monetary donations, participation in events, and donated items.
Because you believe in Wichita Christian School, you are the key to our success. We rely on the generous support of our donors and army of volunteers to prepare our students as the next generation of leaders and compassionate Christians.
If you are looking for a way to become involved or have questions about ways to give, please contact our Development Director, Danielle Coppola at dcoppola@wcstars.com.
As a private school, aside from Annual Fund and major fundraising events, school organizations such as Student Council, Parents for Christian Education, Booster Club and more are in need of support to fulfill their missions and support special projects. These organizations will host different events, sell promotional items, and coordinate many other activities during the year to help meet goals. Service and volunteer opportunities are plentiful, and we welcome your involvement!
An engaged and supportive school community is essential to advance the Christ-centered education and mission at WCS, where every student is known, loved, and valued.
Wichita Christian School is an investment that will benefit your child for a lifetime.
