As a member of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS), Wichita Christian School competes against other private schools around the state for championships in individual and team sports. Wichita Christian School offers Junior High and Varsity 6-man football, which moves at a much faster pace than traditional 11-man. The WCS coaching staff strives to teach athletes the connection between athletic principles and spirituality, in which one must always be prepared to take on the challenges and trials life presents. Our overall goal is to build men of character and honor Him in all we do, on and off the field.
We have a vibrant and active WCS Stars Booster Club that enhances the athletic experience through the purchasing of training equipment, uniforms, supplies, etc. Be sure to check out all the programs we have to offer and get involved by emailing our coaches and joining the WCS Athletic Booster Club Facebook group for more information: https://www.facebook.com/WCSAthleticBoosterClub?mibextid=JRoKGi
The Wichita Christian Stars are the UNDEFEATED State Champions in TAPPS Six man Division III Football for the 2024 football season. This historic season for Wichita Christian School serves as a testament to how faith and hard work can determine outcome over everything else. For the first time since 1969, the city of Wichita Falls is home to a Texas high school football state championship team!
